When we designed and engineered the first 3-across car seat, we knew it was something special. What we didn’t anticipate was for the Radian® to continue its success for over 16 years (and counting). Of course, we’ve made some changes along the way, but only to give parents and passengers the absolute best so they can experience #JoyOfTheJourney. Some things have never changed, like the famous steel core frame or the collection of head-turning styles and fashions. As we begin our seventeenth year of Radian® we thought we’d re-introduce you to the family. It may look familiar, but there’s a whole lot more to love.
All Radian® models are suitable from birth to booster and have a lifespan of 10 years. With 4-modes of travel from rear-facing infant, rear-facing for longer to 50 lbs, forward-facing to 65 lbs, and booster mode to 120 lbs. Radian® continues to be one of the narrowest seats available measuring 17” in width and fits 3-across in most midsize vehicles.
A timeless classic, Radian® 3R gives you everything you need from an all-in-one car seat. Suitable from 5 lbs / 2.2 kg with 4-modes of travel including rear-facing for longer up to 50 lbs / 22.7 kg, Radian® 3R is safety without the frills. With a 5-point harness and anti-slip harness pads, your Very Important Passenger will be protected and comfortable for up to 10 years of travel.
A familiar model, with a whole new look. Radian® 3RX took a short break as it went through a transformation to return with an all-new 12-position adjustable headrest and extended rear-facing. Other additional features include XL anti-slip harness pads, steel reinforced cup holder and 2-in-1 infant head support liner. The upgraded headrest provides safety and comfort for passengers in rear-facing, forward facing and booster seat modes.
The award-winner. The Radian® 3RXT has been a household name across America since its release, becoming the family favorite in the Radian® line. First launched in 2011, Radian® 3RXT was IIHS Best Booster award-winner 2018. Additional features of Radian® 3RXT include new-born travel high wedge and 2-in-1 infant head and body support liner to provide extra security and protection for those very first trips.
The latest addition to Radian® legacy is born. We’ve taken everything families know and love about the Radian® 3RXT and introduced 18 improvements, including Diono SafePlus™ Engineering, a combination of testing and engineering to provide advanced safety and protection. Latest upgrades and features include SafePlus™ easy adjust 12-position headrest, 6 layers of SafePlus™ Side Impact Protection and SafePlus™ steel anti-rebound bar to reduce rebound rotation by 50%. With complete 3-stage rear-facing protection, Radian® 3RXT SafePlus™ is suitable from 4 lbs / 1.8 kg and is available in a range of six classic styles.

Upgrades include SafePlus™ 2-in-1 anti-rebound panel and adjustable calf support to provide rebound rotation for rear-facing travel, and optimum comfort in forward-facing modes.
